Practical, one-to-one accounting tuition with Malgorzata Plutecka, MSc, BSc, AFA, MIPA — founder and Managing Director of Sepera College and an AAT teacher. Learn through live online Zoom sessions, personal email contact and practical assignments built around your experience, questions and ambitions. This course is individually planned for each learner, whether you are developing your first practical accounting skills, returning to UK practice or already running an accounting business.
How your individual course works
- Purchase the course and tell us about yourself. Email info@seperacollege.com with your order number, accounting experience, learning goals and the areas where you would like help.
- Receive a proposed learning plan. Malgorzata prepares an initial plan, exercises and practical tasks around the topics you want to understand. Your scope, timetable and study pace are agreed individually.
- Learn, practise and review your work. Meet online on Zoom, ask questions, work through practical examples and discuss your assignments. Materials, questions and feedback are also exchanged by email.
What you could work on
Your programme is tailored to you. Depending on your needs, possible areas include:
- Day-to-day UK bookkeeping: sales and purchase ledgers, invoices, credit notes, receipts, bank reconciliation, petty cash and aged debtor or creditor reports.
- Journals and reporting: accruals, prepayments, depreciation, trial balances, month-end routines and financial reports.
- UK accounting workflows: practical VAT, Making Tax Digital, payroll and PAYE topics selected for your learning plan.
- Accounting software and Excel: practical workflows in Xero, QuickBooks or Sage, spreadsheet formulas, reconciliations and reporting templates.
- AI and more efficient working: using AI tools to support spreadsheets, draft reports, analyse information and improve routine accounting processes, with appropriate checking of results.
- Your career or accounting business: help with a professional CV, cover letter, client communication and the practical challenges of running an accounting business.
These are examples of possible training topics, rather than a fixed syllabus or a promise that every topic is covered. The programme, duration and session arrangements are agreed individually with Sepera College.
Practical materials and personal feedback
Your agreed plan may include realistic client scenarios, source paperwork, invoices, bank statements, Excel workbooks, exercises and questions to discuss with your tutor. The aim is to build understanding through practical work, review mistakes together and develop a confident approach to the tasks that matter to you.
Certificate and references
On completion, you receive a Sepera College certificate. Professional references for an employer or clients are also available on request.
